Now we have 3 beautifully illustrated, top-class books on
Art of folders, fixed knifes AND now, the latest book - on advanced knifemaking process.

The last one, available from knife art, "Modern Custom Knifemaking",
http://www.knifeart.com/thearbydar.html , goes much more in depth,
in documenting, in series of photos, a number of knifemaking Masters
going through the process of making their knives. 2-4 pages, dozens
of photos per project - plenty to answer most of the questions I had (the "How the hell do they do that ?" type)

Highly recommended !
 
As I read the book:

- there're good 30 pages on bulino, engraving and other decorative techniques

- quite an in-depth section, from prolly 5 different masters, on all kinds of Damascus, including mosaic

All richly illustrated with top-notch photographs
 
Just got my copy. Really great reading. Nice to see Bill Vining and Chuck Gegraitis in there. Can't wait for his fourth book.
