Debating for a long time now on whether to make a custom knife purchase and with who for what knife, I chose Darrel Ralph, I had to get those XL Apogees' of his! His banner running constantly here throughout BladeForums with that Apogee pic did me in!

Throughout my whole process of ordering from Darrel, he has been super fast with emails and even phone conversations. He listened to my needs and wants of what I was expecting the Apogee to be, he made it all come true! Very pleasent and down right fun chatting with him, placing my order, keeping me posted constantly, and delivering the goods in A1 time. Packaging was extremely well done, he even had each one of the XL Apogees' in their own zippered case. Very nice touch Darrel!

It's well worth the wait. I was told by my wife and kids, don't get too overly enthused, I might be expecting more than what I will get. GUESS WHAT, they were wrong!

You're right on the money Mark, I just opened the box from UPS and the knife I had just sent Darrel came back already! Within the week! That's some service! I had asked Darrel to thin the blade down for me a bit, it was one of the first of these and he said no problem, but he was pretty sure that the fellow who had the knife before me requested the blade to be thicker.
So he fixed me up and sent the knife out the next day, even wasped shaped the clip for me, nice touch. Very happy camper here in PA

Darrel still keeps in touch even after the transaction has been completed, that's nice and even makes you feel like something special! Course having one of his creations does that alone!

hey can you tell me how to get ahold of darrel? i want to have him make me a a custom small or medium apogee and the idea i have is i better get my order in quick if i dont want to wait a looooong timedue too popularity thanx for your help if ya can.
