Apparently I keep forgetting I "don't collect balisongs anymore" because this came in the mail today, and it just ain't my thing. Got it as part of a package deal with a 1980s vintage Japanese balisong that I'm keeping.

This balisong appears to be in like new condition. VERY heavy handles means it is not for fancy acrobatic flipping, just basic combat openings. The weight combined with multiple impact points on the tang make it an excellent yawara. This is a heavy duty knife. You could probably even take it camping and "baton" with it if you wanted to.

Blade is 154CM which means it should be able to take a screaming sharp edge, but it needs a good sharpening. It is possible this might even be Darrel's "flip smart training edge" which is heat treated and properly ground but left unsharpened. I dunno. It looks like it should sharpen up easily without any need for a regrind, just a bit dull. Anyway, I've got no use for it and my wife just told me she doesn't like balisongs so I need to get her a different knife for Christmas.

Let's say $75 shipped all fees covered. USPS Priority Mail. File photo. Not particularly interested in trades unless it's a hawkbill. Thanks.
