Darrel Ralph Designs (DDR) HTM Gunhammer 2 - bowie - WARNING: big pix inside

That's a great review, and that knife is awesome. I think I'll check into a Maxx-Q. I really like it alot.

I got cat hair on my bed also!:D

Good looking knife. I have plans to purchase one of the HTM MADD MAX knives. The one in DLC coating with a manual action. But it will be after I pay for the Andrew Demko folder before I will be able to. Still looking forward to one though.

I've had this knife for a day over 9 months now. In that time I've sent it off to a resident forumite to get a mirror polished edge as I have with all my knives in the past. I've used it at work mostly to cut up plastic ties, boxes, and shrink wrap. The knife holds a remarkable edge, but that's probably testament to the s30v steel on the blade. I've only ever had to strop the blade to bring it back to razor sharp. Then again I like to maintain my knives and not get the edge dull before I take care of it. Overall, the knife still looks brand spanking new. The mil-spec anodizing has held up superbly. Lock up is solid; the lockbar contacts the blade tang at roughly 75% of the lockbar thickness.

thanks for the follow up ---looks like one of the defining properties of ralph is dyrability hand in hand with great quality.
