Just got my first custom knife Thursday-a CF EDC from Darrel Ralph (heckuva start, I'd like to think).
Darrel has been absolutely great to deal with. I could write a book about both the experience and the knife.
Great guy, great knives, and great to do business with. Can't wait for the next one to get here

Owen, congrats on the knife, you made a good choice. I agree, Darrell is great to deal with, down to earth, and despite being one of the premiere custom makers, doesn't act like he's better than you. Just a regular guy with extraordinary talent. Enjoy your knife.
 
Anyone considering a custom Darrel Ralph knife will not be dissappointed, in either the friendly service but of the beautiful work and a great guy who stands behind his work 100%.

I've got a few of his pieces and more on order. That should say something.

If a customer would ever have a question or a problem with one of Darrel's knives I guarantee that they will be taken care of!!! Makers don't come much better!

Just kidding, Darrel is one of the greatest knifemakers out there and also one hell of a nice guy too! I have one of his big honkin camp knives on order and should be getting it in a few months or so.

My experiences with Darrel have all been positive. Now if that Madd Maxx would just arrive I would be a whole lot happier.
