This is very aptly named - SCORPION - 5" of stinger - this has to be the finest example of tactical/fighter folder I have seen or held. It has all of Darrel's latest upgrades & mods incorporated - workmanship is impeccable & built like a tank - not flashy but elegant, gorgeous & deadly! Darrel's new sharpening process works - this is shaving sharp( I actually used this to shave without killing myself!). It does get peoples' attention when you open this up!

Yes, once again another beautiful knife from Darrel Ralph, but then again, do we expect anything less? And are we disappointed? The answer to both questions is a big resounding NO!!!

As Paul confirmed it is an integral Ti frame w/inset carbon fiber scales. The spacer is stainless treated to a gold color to offset the anodized frame. It has Darrel's state-of-the-art liner-lock system which is "SOLID" - no worries about failure here! This is a very heavy knife - "it walks & talks" - inspires confidence holding it in your hand. The new bead-blast finish is extremely nice - provides elegant muted finish that also gives a secure grip - carbon fiber scales are blasted too - looks great & not at all slippery. I'm still drooling over the knife(fortunately it has the D-2E which seems to have much better corrosion/rust resistance). But as fantastic as the knife is I think I have gotten as much enjoyment from my dealings & conversations with Darrel.
