Anodized titanium is NOT like anodized aluminum. For one thing aluminum is a good conducter which is why it has been used for electrical wiring. It has a cold feel to it. Titanium, being a very poor conductor has a very neutral feeling to it. I have a heat blued titanium bracelet that I have worn for many years and it feels fine against my skin.

Same thing is true of a knife handle.
