******The knife is sold, pending funds. Thanks!******

For sale is a Darrel Ralph Millenium EDC with slotted carbon fiber scales. The knife is from my son’s collection and was not used or carried by him. However, he is not the original owner, and it looks as if the previous owner did not use the knife either. Action is smooth, and lockup is solid.

Darrel said that there were perhaps 3 or 4 of these knives made. The knife is light and relatively thin, so it rides well in the pocket. The slightly recurved S90v steel blade has a satin finish on the flats and is bead blasted on the hollow ground portion. The blade is marked “DDRM”. The liners are stainless steel. Other specs on the knife:

Blade 3.5”
OAL 8.0”
Weight 3.25oz

The price is $280 $300.00, shipped in the CONUS

Not looking for any trades, thanks. Paypal + 3% or USPS M.O. Please email me if you would like this knife. Thanks for looking.

Hello,

Very nice knife.
I have 2 questions : are the CF scales of the more grippy sort or are they the "classic-nice-but-slippery" CF ?
Also, would you sent it overseas to Swizerland ?

Thanks
Marco

Hi Marco,

The CF has a smooth finish, but seems to be somewhat pourous too. It is smooth, but not slippery. I don't know the difference between the two types of CF you mentioned, but am guessing that it is the non-slippery variety. I will PM you about the shipping.

Hello Jeff,

I know it is not easy to describe the "touch" quality of CF...

If I understand correctly, the CF on this knife is just slightly porous and offers a good grip (like on a Microtech LCC) and not totally polished and ultra-smooth/ultra-slippery-when-wet like a spyderco CF. Am I right ?

I got your PM, just let me think a moment about that. I will get back to you.

Thanks
Marco

That will teach me to act faster....:)
If you want a knife you have to be quick. A knife can sit for months and then all of a sudden one hour before you're ready to buy it.
BAM!
GONE!
BYE-BYE!
No more knife.
Don't worry, there's lots of others out there. But it might be a while before you see a deal this good again.
