Nice, simple streamlined design and a great size IMHO based off of the stats listed.

Looking forward to it  BIG piece of 10V ... or what is meant by "will be 3V or 4V"?

Looks great Jim, I like the way you guys tied all of the aspects you mentioned together. I could see that working really well in the field, at the cutting board, and in a fight if it came to it. Very nicely done.

Thanks. :)

Played with it for a min today while I was talking photos, it's going to be something from what I already see.

Have to start the testing process, it will be extensive as it should be. :D

And I bet you had fun too :D

Yep, will need to be an extensive one since you went for functional in so many important aspects of knife use :) Looking forward to it!

Sans that bolster and she's GTG.

I rather like the bolster personally. I guess it depends on personal preferences and what you use your knives for.

One reason Ed Martin has gotten more of my money than any other one maker the last couple of years is that he is among the few still doing working knives the old fashioned way, and offering hilts and guards as an option. In some of my crazy experiments, as well as in the repeated abuse of using the knives for knife skills instruction, I like having some protection for the front of the handle scales.

Man, that's clean like Mr. Clean.

I don't care what steel it's fashioned from, put me down for two (2) please.

We will post a thread on his Sub forum soon I believe.

That is one sexy design Jim, looking forward to you putting her through her paces!
