Like unique, handmade blades? Meet the Darter Multitool! It combines a short blade on a long streamlined handle for practical utility cutting applications, makes for a very quick draw, and provides the reach and penetration depth matching that of much heavier fighting knives. This Darter Multitool is hand forged from two steels, O1 tool steel blade is forge welded with mild steel and given a brass rubbed finish for handsome bronze age vibes. The all steel construction is deceptively comfortable when gripped in a variety of ways, including classic knife fighting grips. If you choose to use the central ring guard, this achieves rapid and secure grip transitions for less lethal to lethal effects:
The Darter is so thin and ergonomic that it can be held and free up the hand to manipulate complex objects--even drawing, firing, and reloading handguns.

Well, one of the youtube video links didn't embed. If you want to see the Darter using with the handgun, check this out.

My neighbor only practiced for a minute before this video was taken. The pistol was drawn with an empty chamber, demonstrating the Darter did not hinder racking the slide. Simple, intuitive, and beautiful.

Thank you! If you like that two handed grip concept, we make another blade of our own design, the Micropike Multitool. Shipped one of those out to Oregon on Friday.

In two handed grip it can achieve 6" of penetration depth with battering-ram force. One bad blade.

The Darter multitool does different things. Not as deep in the stab but works great with a handgun.

Way cool.... would be hard to defend against.
