Well it's not natural light and I am still cleaning her up a bit. Got it from some local guy named Monty ;)awhile back and it was sort of stained up. But she is mine and I like her a lot:thumbup:

In light of Operation Two Weeks, the AMS being sold out, Scrap Yard having zero inventory, and Swamp Rat with some sold out models, I figured I'd better pull the trigger on a TGLB ( well a 2nd one). Been delaying this for far too long, so I just placed the order for a Tanker Grey with Tan Canvas.

So while I'm waiting for my new Infi, this one will probably end up a safe queen since I have already put my other one through the paces, please post up some pics of your Daryl Dixon TGLB's for me to drool over while I play the waiting game.

The darrel knives are black and tan g10 with Grey blade... my black and tan g10 plus BLACK blade which i think is known as the andy the aussie dixon combo just charged my card yesterday and shipped this morning. Placed my order on june 17th or 27th "one of those dates lol" :) will put up pics monday when ups comes wrapped in a buybrown kryptek sheath he just made about 2 weeks ago

How do you protect the scales during the bead blast?
I like didn't. Just made sure to do a thorough job with the initial chemical strip. That epoxy stuff is much tougher to blast off than the decarb layer. The decarb comes off really quick with the blaster. Once i got all the paint off I just blasted the whole thing. Just made sure to make the passes pretty quick when working the areas around the handles.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Daryl's version of the original Team Gemini a competition finish with black and tan g10? Not a light brigade version.

All Tglb's are referred to as Daryl Dixon's by my wife. And damn they look sexy in any pattern. This is by far my favorite knife design ever made.

My favorite as well firestrike. Hey at least your wife refers to your knife as something other than 'that thing' or 'that crap'. That's what I hear from my wife and she loves Walking Dead.

We only refer to crkt, gerber and any other currently chinese made knives used on tv/movie shows as that thing or crap.

Poorly heat treated 440a and cr13mov seem to be all thats required in the film industry. Rather than dulling down the edges themselves for scene use, they just come dull right out the factory box :D

Wow I feel lucky, I ordered my first Busse (TGLB, tanker grey with blue/black G10) last month, will be here tomorrow =D. Looks like i pulled the trigger in time.

I don't have a picture of my Daryl Dixon version (Black and Tan G10 with Competition Finish), but I do have this:
