Lol going to make the suga an edc for a while till you can pinpoint what you want in your custom one?

I'll probably give it a go as an EDC, but I'm buying it mostly because I like the Suga blade. Plus it doesn't hurt to own the original before getting the custom job made.

Noooo! I was gonna EMS that hasiya lol. Congratz to whoever got it. My mom wants one for the garden

Send auntie an email Cube. She might have some more. And open you your email option so folks can email ya would ya? Always take care of mom at any cost. Mom's rule.

That little DBVUK looks like mine. Mine is through hardened and then I think he tempers the tang- you can see the heat coloring on the polished part. Really well made.

I havent seen that bag since 1999. I carried it's grandfather all over Europe and Asia. Very nice, brings back lots of memories.

Ok, em sent to auntie, I couldn't resist. I do believe mine had bhuddas eye embroidered on it. Beautiful work

While I was there I asked auntie if she had another planchok villager, 19oz 15" approx. I love this one more than the rest combined. It may change when I finish sanding the handles to match the shape of the planachok. It has a much narrower grip, that is far easier for me to hold.

And of course any 18" 19oz siru's or bashpati that she had laying around could probably fit in the box with my bag

Gone all day helping friends, and come back to see all these - I guess I'll ask if Auntie has another Hasiya - Oh well...

Haven't touched my settings since I made account lol. Fixed it now though.

Is that a piece of art or what.......I have absolutely no use for a blade like that. Even the big bowie's I have are collecting dust since my two villagers have arrived, because the ergo's are so superior for my hand. I even look at my 7 1/2" bowie style, most prized knife I own, and wonder if there's any practical use for it anymore. On my 6" srk sure, that and anything smaller work better for me with our traditional shape.

It something like a phenomena, or addiction as you guys like to call it. I see this beauty and I want it to be mine. Too precious to let escape......when will I have this opportunity again. Lol, I think my skin may be turning green as we speak.

The only thing that tempers the craving is that the next day another one is posted that somehow eclipses the last and it starts anew. I have to turn off the computer, take out all my kuks. Hold them, feel the weight, ergo's. Admire each for what it is and can do. Whether thats an all day use blade like my 19oz planchok or the heavy chopping capability of my 32oz WWII. Calm myself, looking at them assembled and say its going to be all right.

That being said, I did em auntie with a few wishes.........

I honestly really want that plaque to hang on the wall but I'm broke and I think my girlfriend would kill me

You read my book huh? Publisher screwed me over, didn't get a dime on that deal.
What were you hankering for sash? Never hurts to email anyhow, auntie sometimes has more than one.

I can't say that your book has been all that helpful to me!! :)
I thought that short and light villager might just be the cat's pajamas. An inch or so shorter than my BAS, and several ounces lighter. Reminiscent of a 19th century Nepalese army model I have.

I just received the little Hasiya. Just a cute little bugger all around. Just right for playing with in an office environment and makes me hanker for a big brother.

Thank you Auntie, got here really quick as usual and I needed a new knife to save the day.

Thats so strange Bawanna, I was about to ask if anyone has heard from auntie. When I didnt hear back from her about the bag, I realized I didnt put any reference in the em to let her know which bag I was referring to, but had mentioned Bhuddas eyes and ear were on my last one. I found exactly that Jola a few posts back. No matter, I had also asked auntie about another planchok to match mine.

Well, I sent auntie another email, same ? about the planchok and clarified the Jola (small rucksack) that I am interested in. It may already be gone, it was posted with the prince knife. Anyway, I was wondering if she was away, but you receiving your knife answers that

you have to imagine the flood of emails and messages auntie deals with every day -- I am sure that she will get back to you asap, and sometimes if she does not have what you want, she will not prioritize it, as she is trying to make deals to get kamis fed and paid.

So, above all just be patient, though I am almost sure there are no more planchoks -- it never hurts to ask

Gehazi, unfortunately you're probably correct with the planchok. But like you said, gotta ask. Im patient, it just usually those red sold logos go up pretty quick, Or as a group later. No worries though, ive got an edc backpack. This one is just for nostalgia.

PS, living here in S fla, 8-10 miles from the ocean. Humidity is usually around 90%. Salt isn't so bad like the beach crowd, but back when tv's were built to last, we could only sell them Sony. It was lucky to get five yrs before the insides were green and useless. Most lesser brands wouldn't last 3 yrs. So, as much as I love the little villager for showing its roots, yesterday it went out to be cerakoted. A nice dark earth should go well with the wood. Hopefully this will protect it for a lifetime. A second small carbon blade with black handle is getting a burnt bronze coating.

Already? Wow I knew Auntie worked miracles with shipping, but that is impressive. I suspect I can expect my Suga sometime today. Now if only I could stay home all day waiting for it.

Hawk Id love to see that cerakoted blade when you get it done! That should be neat looking. Is that the same process they do to exhaust headers?
Mine found its spot in the kitchen where it belongs! I seem to remember the three planachoks were listed in a DOTD from quite a while back and didnt sell. They might not be shiny and all but they sure are functional.

I got my baby hasiya yesterday as well Bawanna! It will live with my wife for garden and herb choppin. It does need an edge touch up tho. No biggie.

def post that thing when you are finished hawk, florida sounds pretty rough on everything ! ( other than the eyes I guess :D)

Ill definitely put some pics up when they come back. Its the coating they're putting on guns now. Became so popular when the guys going to the sand wanted tan weapons. May be the toughest coating possible.
The dark earth should be nice, but in this instance, the CS with its black handle is sweet, the burnt bronze with graphite contrasts amazingly against black.

The 3 planchoks went fast, but the two kitchen knives went faster than the kuk...thank god for me. Else I would've missed it
