What an excellent selection of blades!! Folks, if I didn't already have two Kumar Kardas made by Dil, I'd give you a merry race for that horn handled beauty. I like the KKs, good field knives, keen enough to slice onions or whittle hot dog sticks, but built like a khuk and tough enough to split kindling or butcher a bear. :D

Good lord that's a lot of knives!!!

Email sent on Bolo. And I'm keeping an eye on the R5, Kumar karda, YCS karda, Sarge and Pen. Please, please take the temptation away! :( :p

*Edit: R5 down, four to go. Eric, you're going to love it. I got one in chandan a couple weeks back and am looking forward to someday getting another in horn. Would've pulled the trigger just now for sure if I hadn't just laid down $150 for a tarwar and $140 for a Bolo.

*Further edit: Got the Bolo! The other are dropping like flies, so it looks like I'm going to be in the clear. Now I just have to stop myself from checking for DOTDs for the next month or so to prevent myself from bankrupting myself. :D

What the heck, e-mail sent on the Kumar Karda. It's for Dashain after all, and besides, I've got a bad habit of giving these away to youngsters going to do what I'm not allowed to go and do anymore. ;)

It's your computer, check your internet settings and keep trying, these deals are definitely worth it.

Pics were showing up earlier, but they are not now.

I think the picture server is having problems.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, horn handled KK by Dil Bhadur has done decided it wants to go to Texas. :D Many thanks to Aunt Yangdu, and Happy Dashain & Tihar to all the kamis, sarkis, and the whole HI family.

Don't know what to tell y'all, the pics are coming through clear as a bell on my end. 'Course I'm a throwback fossil of an AOL dial up user. ;)

Wierd. I can't see them either, and I certaily could before. Hope it gets fixed quick, as that's a lot of knives to admire.

I also can't access the Himalayan Imports web site right now.

That is where the pictures are located.

Eric.

Even though I lost out on today's Kumar Karda , fair & square, Yangdu offered me another in a plain Sisau wood handle with otherwise same dimensions over the phone. Got the YCS for a birthday present for a great old friend of mine.
The Kumar Karda was at the behest of my escrima instructor after seeing the one I sharked last week. It arrived om Sat. He played with it and then needed one. Sarge is right. They are such cool "little" knives.
And can we say bang for the buck??
