Can someone give me a date of manufacture on a 62021/2 5 dot? I also wanted to say what a great forum this is. As soon as I can figure out how to post pics I would love to share my collection

If the dots are between the Case XX and the U.S.A. stamp - 1980's.

If the dots are underneath the U.S.A stamp - 1970's.

Then for the specific year of the decade 10 dots = 1970 or 1980 depending upon their position; 9 dots for 1971 or 1981 and so forth until 1 dot = 1979 or 1989.

So, depending upon where the dots are on your knife, it would be 1975 or 1985.

Bastid explained the system....I can only add that yours is a 1975 since the 6202-1/2 was discontinued in 1977.
