I agree, Dave is one of the best. A few years ago, I had to go to San Diego to see my Son graduate from Marine Corps boot camp. Afterwards, the family wanted to go to Mexico. I had already been there and done that, so I called up Dave. Dave invited me to his house and we ground on some blades and checked out all his awesome knives. I wont forget that good time!

I never met Dave personally, but we chatted via email a bunch on some things. Our conversations led to books--and he sent me a copy of his signed 'Bill Moran's 25 year Anniversary Knives' to simply read and return when I was done. How about that! It's back and Daves on my 'super' list....
