So Dave had posted this thread a while back an I think it is worth
reviving with a better photo - Plus, I think this blade is really, really cool.

Hey THere,
I was at the Blade Show West and attended the Take down Bowie seminar him and Steven did. David had this knife there and it is one awsome piece of work. The way you can switch guards is very awsome. It is even better in real life if you can imagine. THanks, Shane

Wow thanks Blake For posting it like that I am still trying to work that out. I just need someone to show me how. Bill Burke was going to show me at Blade west but he has PC and I have a mac. Shane it was good to meet you at BW.

is it just me or are there skulls in that steel?
What kind of pirate do ye think would carry such a blade? Inspiration, Dave?

I love that knife too! Exceptional damascus and the blade looks great with either guard.

Well Lorien This Pirate travels light but with a big knife he like's the D guard when he is fighting in a mob. but he is more of a lover then fighter, he is often at the pub sporting the penny guard as to not appear that he is looking for a fight but he is ready for one. when he leaves the pub he goes right to the cove for, well you know.

Yaahrr, back to the cove, me harties!

ARRRRRR... The cove is where I'd rather be!!!
I've loved that knife since the first time I saw it ..
Nice work Dave!!
