This is the original 440 dendritic steel knife, not the current production cobalt. It is no longer made.
This may be more appropriate here than in the fixed blade section as this knife was individually made to order. I have a Boye Basic for sale, sterile blade full flat grind. Magnetic, so it's BDS 440c steel or dendritic steel. It's a cast steel that creates even distribution of carbide crystals in the steel to maintain a phenomenal edge and greatly improve wear resistance over standard 440c. Knife appears barely used with a few sharpening marks on the edge. Includes sheath. I'm thinking 240 NOW 225 REDUCED TO 210 shipped. Let me know if I'm way off base, but I think that's fair for a pretty uncommon and out of production knife. Interested in trades, full or partial, for interesting spyderco knives, mule team, microtech knives, protech emerson, Bark River, or a good bushcraft knife. Email me at Joeldworkin307@gmail.com.
