The prices on these 3 knives have already been reduced several times. They are priced as low as I can go. If they dont sell before Blade, they are coming with me. They are all likely to sell / trade for more than I am asking. Thanks for looking, and please feel free to ask any questions.
First up is a David Broadwell fixed blade tactical knife, model LDC-F-2. These were made specifically for Les Robertson at Robertson Custom Cutlery several years ago. This was a project that involved a number of very well-known knife makers, who made both fixed blade and folding knives for the LDC series. They all sold out fast, and do not come up for sale very often these days.
This is serial #40 of 50. These days, David Broadwell makes high-end art knives and pens. This is the perfect everyday carry (EDC) knife - it's lightweight, has a narrow profile, and comes with a kydex sheath that can be mounted in a couple of different positions.
It measures 8 1/2" in overall length, the blade is approximately 4" long, and the top edge is sharpened about 2 1/2" back from the tip. There are upper and lower notches for forefinger and thumb placement.
I am the original owner of this knife. It has never been used, sharpened or carried. It is in as-new condition.
Asking $425 $395 $375 - Postal Money Order or PayPal (no fees)
Includes Insured Shipping by USPS Priority Mail in the CONUS.
Next up is a W.D. Pease fixed blade tanto-style knife. This is a rare piece that has been in my collection since new. I am the original owner. It is in MINT condition. To me, this knife reminds me of the tanto-style knives that made Bob Lum famous (may he rest in peace). It has never been used, sharpened or carried. There is no sheath. It has been stored in my safe in a zippered case (included with the knife).
It measures just a tad less than 11 in overall length and the blade measures just a tad over 6 in length. It is marked with Mr. Peases unique numbering system, Gbc6. I do not believe that he offers this model any longer. And he doesnt make many fixed blade knives this large. I have never seen another one like it.
I dont specifically recall the blade steel, but if I remember correctly it is ATS 34. Notice in the last picture how the tanto-style blade is thicker at the tip. I believe the bolsters are either 410 or 416 stainless. The bolsters are nicely done with 8 stainless steel balls (3 on each side, and 1 each on both the top and bottom) embedded in the bolsters. The handle is made from two (2) beautifully matched slabs of stag, pinned in 5 places. The stag is rich in color, and highly figured. Even the rear portion of the stag is thicker, for a better grip on the knife. This knife feels awesome in-hand, and the fit and finish are perfect. This would be a great addition to any collection.
Asking $1295 $975 $800 $750 Postal Money Order or $775 PayPal.
Includes Insured Shipping by USPS Priority Mail in the CONUS.
And last up is a Cowboy Bowie made by Mastersmith John Horrigan of Elite Knives in Burnet, TX.
John is currently not accepting any new orders.
The knife is 11 7/8" in overall length, and the Wolf Tooth pattern Damascus blade is 7 1/8" long.
The blade is 1 5/8" at the widest part.
The fittings are O-1 steel.
The handle is Desert Ironwood scales.
John's list price on his website is $1475.
It has never been used, carried or resharpened.
No sheath - Padded zippered case included.
$1295 $1050 $900 $875 Postal Money Order or $900 PayPal.
Includes USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation in the CONUS.
