David Broadwell MLR Subhilt Fighter

excellent Roger !

As you know, I am a big fan of David's subhilts - all types:D

I have a curly KOa MLR myself !

Thanks everyone, even you STeven! I do enjoy making those sub hilts and I'm tickled that one has found its way into Roger's collection. I wish I'd been able to actually hold the sheath though, but I expect there will be other knives with Paul's leather work.

Roger, I'm looking forward to finally meeting you at Blade. Enjoy your knife.

And thanks, Les. I'm encouraged to know that I'm coming along nicely, and my self confidence is growing now that we've worked together on a few knives. It's only taken 21 years!

Thanks again, I appreciate the comments! And thanks, Roger, for posting the pictures.

Hi David,

I put a :D after my remarks.

Since there are so many people in love with this knife....I have another. <G>

Great looking sub-hilt, Roger! As all have mentioned, great lines and grinds on this piece. And, I like the 8.5 size and your choice of sheath. Mr. Long dressed it to the hilt and beyond!

Congratulations!

- Joe

Incredible work by all artists involved -
no props for Les as he ALREADY has a pretty big head :D

Mr Broadwell, my wife will be flying into Wichita Falls today to visit family in Burkburnett, Grandfield, Cache, Lawton, and then onto Oklahoma City - you don't offer "Airport Shuttle" service do you? I'll get out there myself sooner or later.

Beautiful knife, Roger, I have the older and larger brother to this piece.
Love the subtle addition of the "skull crusher" to the pommel.

Geez, what is the world coming to when people like Roger start buying "stock removal" pieces. Really seems like the wrong descriptive term as Michelangelo could have been considered a stock removalist vs. an artist.

David is certainly an ARTIST.
