Is Kryptek the same as Kydex?

I'm a terrible picture takerer:confused:...
So imagine a Busse Urgent Fury with the uncoated blade & Black Canvas grips.
And imagine what I call a Kombat Kydex Sheath that was delivered yesterday from Mr. David Brown...
Its an Olive Drab, Pancake style, RH with Tek Lok...
And it fits great!

I just want to share how much having a good sheath makes enjoying our knives so much more.
When I put the Urgent Fury into its new sheath, it sounds like I'm racking a pump 12g!
The knife (knives, I'm lucky enuf to have a few Busse/Buy Brown combos) stay in place,
yet are ready in hand when needed!! (There is the Talon hole for you Ranger types!!)

So, Thanks Mr Busse & team, for making such great knives!
And thank you Mr Brown for making us Kool Kydex to keep them in!
 
I trust David implicitly. He is quite the artist.... what makes him a class apart is his ingenuity. Good on you for asking him to take on this project.
