So I leave Salt Lake City for our Morro Bay Cali trip and I swing by Big D's place to get a couple sheaths (both perfect fits) anyway, im standing in his shop in a manly blade discussion when zing!!! fire pain in my britches... fearing its a spider I run around the corner an drop trou in a panic... well it was a bee that flew up my shorts and went to town.. the welt swelled and turned purple over the next week. yikes
if ya ever drop by to see D Brown.. wear PANTS..he has added security..by way of bees!!!
True Story...

So what you're saying is that you were standing in the middle of his workshop, praised his work, felt overcome with a burning sensation, and purposefully removed your pants?

o_O

I think David asked for these tickling threads to stay at Blade Show didn't he?

Well, you were visiting him in the Beehive State. ;)

you guys are killing me :)
funny thing is about 2 weeks before I got stuck by one of the wasps too :)

sorry man, hope you heal quickly.

+ pics or it did not happen.

Too funny. I'm sorry bro, but Rob, as we do in the field.....Me-"you ok man?" ......Rob-"yup"...........Me- " Hahahahahaha........hahahahahaha".
Glad all is well.....so now the truth, what did ya buy?

Seriously though, starting fluid is your best friend with yellowjackets, wasps & hornets if you take the time to locate their nests. When you do your part, you can shoot them right out of the air dead if you hit them from the front or top, but they may escape if you aim for their backside. A one half second long spray can annihilate an entire cluster under an eve overhang. There is nothing faster to kill them from a spray can.
Happy hunting!

True! They immediately curl into spastic somersaults in mid air. It's funny in the shop on sawdust they clean off these little swirly spots.

Don't read between the lines my friend as there is no mention of fire there... ONLY starting fluid in liquid spray form will do the job. ;)

...I had better get over there fast and salvage that Infi-hoard!

Dawn Dish soap about an inch in a spray bottle with it half full of water. It suffocates them .And it's not flammable.
