Early reports seem to be that he hung himself in Thailand in a hotel.

Sad ending to a talented and at times eccentric actor. :(

So sad,I always enjoyed watching his films.Does anyone renember the movie Iron Circle, that came out in the late 70s?

I just read the news article....so sad. I grew up on Kung Fu reruns. Godspeed David....RIP brother.

This just sucks. I met him once and he seemed to be a cool guy. RIP, David.:(.

I have not always been a fan, I prefer him in westerns to action movies, but I will admit he was awesome as Bill in "Kill Bill".

It seemed like the role he had been auditioning for his entire career!

I'm so sorry to hear about his death. He really provided me with a lifetime of entertainment - not every day but on an ongoing basis. His dad was quite a character actor too, despite being afflicted with crippling rheumatoid arthritis in his later years.

News of his death came with disbelief and then shock at the lose of an actor I had been watching since Kung Fu was originally screened.

He has continued to entertain me since then, sometimes in roles where the character he played so well appeared to be really evil, even to the extent one could feel real hatred and dread, towards his on-screen presence.

But as Grasshopper he brought the existence of Chinese Martial Arts to me and for that I owe a 'Thank You' beyond what words can express.

Namu Amida Butsu David Carradine. :(

Iv quite enjoyed most of his stuff, "Kung-fu" was a classic. RIP D.C. :(

I read on the news here that he was found in a cupboard tied up ?
That could be a translation problem on my part tough.

The details of his passing are pretty seedy at best. He was one of my least favorite actors right from the start when he was given the Kung-Fu TV role that should have gone to Bruce Lee, a real martial artist. Watching him try to do fight scenes was always good for laughs though.

I don't blame Carradine for it. He was an actor and took what was offered, but taking the role from Bruce Lee was really stupid on the studios part.

I don't blame him for it but he was just so lame at it. I found the show laughable at best.

I don't care what his personal demons were. He'll be sorely missed as far as I'm concerned. I've watched him on the screen in one way or another since I was just a pup.

RIP:(
