My brother David has been making knives for a number a years, mainly lower priced using knives and selling them on Ebay under the name fishingfool90. I talked him into making a bowie and man is he good :)

10'' blade of 3/16'' 1095 differently heat treated, nickle silver guard and premium iron wood burl. Now this bowie was made to be used, it has a 400 grit belt finish on the blade and is scary sharp. The price is $400, no sheath.
I'm selling it for David so contact me if you're interested - Don Hanson lll
:) P.S. First $300 gets it :) :D Sale pending :D
Thanks, Don

Don: I'm kinda into hunters. Does David do many of them? Do you ever do any? Ballpark prices? Thanks! Jeff

P.S. You make great looking knives!

hey, I've seen fishingfool's offerings on ebay....didn't know he was your brother....

Jagged, David does make some hunters in the lower price range.$50 - $150
I make a few fancy hunters in the $800 - $1200 range.

Spyken, yep David is my brother, he has been an on agian - off agian maker for a long time.

I have 3 of Fishing Fool's (David's) knives I got from Ebay. They're great and quite a steal. My fillet knife from him is just the bees knees.

Really tempted by this bowie because even the "low end" Ebay knives David sells are really good in fit and finish. But like Jagged, I'm more into hunters when it comes to knives in the collecting range.

OK guys, David and I talked about the price of this bowie and have agreed it's a little high, there fore the price is now $300 firm. If David can't get this much for bowies he probably wont make anymore. So who wants it.

Thanks, Don
