David Lisch JS, Flying Dragon Bowie

Gotta jump on the bandwagon, Dave and Peter. This is a superlative piece. The Damascus is like a living thing, the stag is top notch, the design elegant, and the execution is up to all the parts. Big contender for "Best of.."

Wow Dave. I've always liked your knives but this has got to be my favourite yet. I'm glad you warmed to that blade shape and ran with it as you absolutely nailed this knife.
Great damascus, wonderful balance and line and that stag is the icing on the cake or something like that...
I'm kinda at a loss for words as I think this really is a new step in a maturity of style. It's really a special piece Dave.

Fantastic knife

My fav of yours in so many ways

Peter and Dave congrats on a truly remarkable knife ... love the blade shape

Dave I have always loved your steel but always thought your tips where a little round this one is certainly not that ... Sweet blade

Peter does have good taste in all things except his friends :D

Wow! That's as nice as it gets! That Damascus is a show stopper!

Just got Home and this is a nice thing to come home to thanks to all again. This knife did help me grow in a lot of ways . I will be making more blades like this and I will keep trying to make the knives that help me grow as a maker.

I have not been a big fan of mosaic damascus, but I agree with John White, this pattern seems to be alive! Fantastic, Dave, every bit is just right.

David it´s very, very and very cool damask. I like it so much.:thumbup::thumbup:

Dave,

I absolutely love the steel. Like others have said it lives, I keep expecting it to move. I've checked it out at least a dozen times--I love it.

Beauty all around. Love the top pic showing the edge and tip. The bottom pic with the blade pattern butted up against the guard pattern is fantastic.

The contrasting band, then a bit more of the killer damascus on the eyes journey to that great stag seal it for me. A knife I'd love to have in my collection.

well I think it is time to say thanks agin to all this is the best response I have ever had to a knife and the first time I have ever gotten two orders from a knife that was posted . there is no way that this will not have an impact on my future work. the blade on this knife was 10-1/2" long and this is where it balanced also a shot of the butt cap thanks agin Peter and coop .
