David Martin's Paperstone 110

How much does your average New Mexican yote weigh? They look pretty big!

Apparently the ones around here are not as hungry! Lucky possum.

Tony, I think you interrupted supper for that coyote . I've kept records on quite a few . Late one fall near a neighbors house who had fruit trees and grapes I walked over and sat down maybe 40 yds. from her small back gate . I hadn't been there 5 mins. when a big fat coyote came walking up right on thru her gate to help himself to some fruit . That one weighed 65 lbs.. Which was the heaviest I've ever taken . The larger one in the first photo weighed 55 lbs. the one in the second photo only 46 lbs.. These are in the normal range for this time of year . From Janurary to March they tend to weigh lighter . October to December they weigh heavier . Unless, someone has lost a cow or two and someone catches up to them after a week . DM

Nice 110 David,we have some big coyotes down my way too.I had two full grown geese once that fell prey to them, out in the pasture the only thing left was two beaks:eek:

Welcome West2 . The subject of your inquiry is a knife Buck offered to its collector members . A 110 which came with a S30V drop point blade, bear-foot (bolsters on the head only) handle of plum paperstone(compressed paper, feels like micarta) with finger grooves and black leather sheath . Quite a knife ! Built for everyday use but I'm having a hard time using it as its handsome look causes me to not want to scratch it . Photos were posted else where just search . DM

When you join, ask about the paperstone drop point 110. They usually make more of the BCCI knives than the members order, so the new arriving members can order them for a short while.

I have three of these S30V drop point paperstone 110s, and I kinda wish I had bought more, for gifts. I use one as an EDC and since I have back-ups I'm not afraid to use and scratch it. It actually looks nice with the scratches on the bolsters (I've used it a lot). It now sparkles. People are impressed with the recycled paper concept. The blade holds up very well, too.

I carried this same 110 Paperstone with me today while splitting some firewood. This model is a great companion when out working. A fine day in our neck of the woods today. Helps a fellow enjoy working. DM

I was out predator calling this morning and had my 110 Paperstone riding with my shotgun. DM
