David Mary Titanium Machete

Crag the Brewer Crag the Brewer thank you for posting, and I'm so glad it showed up and is working nicely for you. You have more experience with it than I do now!

I think time will tell.

What's neat is the Sounds it makes whizzing through the air...

The Swish sound changes. It becomes a higher pitch, the truer your slice is.

It's definitely a High Speed machete. The Faster the better.

A full swing goes through a surprisingly amount.
A half swing doesnt.

It's stiffer than I figured. I can bend it, but it takes effort. it's not spongey. Perfect amount of flex.
Light woods, tall grasses, and it would shine in our swamps.

I have no idea how to sharpen it? No idea what I need? I casually read about titanium knives, but there is so little information.......hopefully Mecha can offer some pointers? What's best?

We got sharpening sorted out. :)

very cool. How often does something like this need to be touched up on the edge?

Normally rarely to virtually never. Unless something...happens to it.

The ti is very resilient to impact and shock forces, but not particularly hard. It should be easily sharpenable with any normal method.
