hello agian. i know you are not to suppose to sell here, but i would like to know if anybody know's the value of a buck custom david yellowhorse model 532 buffalo. i think it was offered by buck in 1989 and was one of 31. but if it is ok i might be intrested in selling it. anyone intersted in it can e-mail me at jjforce23@hotmail.com thank's:)

You're probably not but if you do please post a pic of it so us noobies can see what it is... ;) :) :D

...The knife might look something like this. The 532's gotta be one of my absolute favorites and I have 4 examples of that type, but a Yellowhorse is just out of my realm of possibilities.

i'm trying photo bucket for the first time. well let's see if i did this right

jjforce, That doesn't look like a 532 to my old and tired eyes:confused: ...looks like a slipjoint Buck. Someone who knows about these will be telling you. Preston

...Trax...That picture I posted is a Yellowhorse 532 Buck...The knife jjforce posted looks to be a custom 704 done by Yellowhorse though...

I'm stumped on what this knife is. What's a 704? I don't see it in any recent catalogs I have.

The 704 is the single bladed slipjoint pocket knives, 701, 703, 704, 705 & 709, created around 1990 as an alternative to the 300 series of pocket knives that are still being made. I think the 700s where sort of an idea before it’s time. They stayed in the catalogue for 5 or 6 years but never sold well enough to supplant the 300s they were intended to replace.
