I had 5 and just kept one that is UK friendly and my favourite, I have a very large one that I offered for sale (elsewhere) and no one was interested or appreciated it.

I wish I could find all my photos from Sardinia, there was one small town I visited that had an amazing backstreet museum.
It was an eye opener, it had few visitors I was alone, yet was a window on the culture.
The embroidery and pottery carried on the same patterns into the knife bolsters.
It was one of those places I felt privileged to find.

I called the way they parked Ostrich parking.
They would stick the nose of their car at a crazy angle against the pavement as if the rear of the car sticking out was invisible 😁

Time for some more DAVIDE STERI eye candy :) I requested this one a while back and Davide came through for me just beautifully - as I knew he would.

95 mm blade of C130 with rams horn scales and nickel silver details ~

"It is perhaps one of the oldest types of knife in Sardinia, it has a shape that allows it to be used for all agro-pastoral uses, the ones in the photo are the richest models, with side inserts in brass and with engravings, intended for Signorotti and gifts for the holidays, but the most used type was the simple one, the handle was monolithic in jujube wood or ram's horn, with a double ring and a thin, pot-bellied blade in carbon steel."

It travelled with me this weekend and got to play outside ~

I requested a "little pot belly" as I wanted to reduce the pocket size and I prefer the look of the more slender belly. This is an excellent size and comfortable in hand. Beautiful too, as the luminous horn reveals a variety of color depending on the light. A friction folder with perfect action, though even within just a few days, the pivot has loosened. Easy enough to peen the pins to tighten to my preference.

Thank you Davide!
