Davis, Kious/Hochstrat, Matsuoka/Cai

Beware, billy goats! The bridge is a dangerous place today!:)
AAABsolutely one of the funniest retorts I have read. I laughed out loud.

Still, I like my egg salad with a LOT of pepper. I can always count on STeven.

Liners? I had to look again as well. Sure looked it. What appears to be liners is the top edge of my mirror reflector. As STeven pointed out, it's a framelock.

Kumbaya!

Well that davis is my favorite. It looks outstanding and has a bunch of that Josh smith/Rick Dunkerly thing going on (which I like).

I like some of scotts knives and own one. I don't praise them as collectables but as tools with real nice ergonomics (some of them). I also like his blade profiles. I don't like this one in particular, as I hate that kind of engraving and am not crazy about the shape. I do respect his work though and don't mind the onion influence.

Hmmm...can't believe I missed the great pics earlier. Thanks Coop. I prefer the pattern welded work on the Davis folder, but that Scot Matsuoka knife looks like a winner to me.

Take care, Craig

My favorite knife in this lineup is the top one. This being said, I find the specular reflection very distracting in that pic.

Personally, I don't like the style of C. J. Kai's work. It's not a reflection on his technical skill but on his style only. In short, it's a personal thing.
