I hate to let these go, but I'm trying to get some cash together for some new tools for my knife making obsession! These are my safe queens as I couldn't bring myself to use them except for the Alan Davis Misery Whip knife I used once to skin and dress out a wild hog. These knives may be posted on more than one forum, so the first one according to the time stamp with "I'll take it" followed by a PM get's it.

1. Dawson ATS-34

I bought this little gem at a gun show several years ago. It's small enough to be a neck knife. Comes with a kydex sheath designed to clip on the belt. Odd thing is, it's made to go on the left side. I didn't notice that until after I had bought it and got it home. Wouldn't have mattered to me anyway as I really liked this knife. I've never used it for anything other than shaving some hair off my arm and cutting pretty little paper squiggles. Natural micarta handles. $SPF

2. Backwoods Recurve Hunter with Stabilized Dark Sycamore

This was my first Backwoods knife. It has some smokin' hot dark stabilized sycamore handles. As Bill says, the pics don't due this knife justice! I believe the blade is 1095. It has a mosaic pin in the center of the handle and Bill's dark bluing on the flats. Filework on the top edge. As with the Dawson above, just used it to cut paper and a little arm hair. The swedge really makes this blade look Bad A$$! Comes with one of those famous Backwoods Knives tooled leather sheaths. SPF

3. Alan Davis Misery Whip with Stag

This was the first custom I bought off of BF. The blade is made out of a misery whip and has Stag handles. It came to me hair popping sharp. I did field dress and skin a wild hog with this knife to see how the blade would hold up. I don't know if you've ever skinned a hot before, if you have, then you know how quickly the hide and hair can dull a knife. But this knife made it through the whole process and still came out hair shaving sharp! I did touch it up just a tad and coated it with RenWax before putting it back in the safe. Comes with a tooled leather sheath provided by Alan himself.
