The 4" cutting edge is specially heat-treated for edge holding and shock absorption from 1075 high carbon steel. The handle is tan Micarta. The Tomahawk also comes with a custom-fitted black Kydex belt carry sheath for easy out of the way carry on belt or backpack.

The Micarta handle is textured for a non-slip grip, with an extended tang for blunt force. Thumb and finger grooves under the guard and on the spine ensure a secure grip even in slippery situations. Blade length is 3 1/2", Overall length is 7 3/8"

The blade is made from heavy-duty 1/4" 5160 steel with Barry's classic black Dark Ops finish. The Zombie Slayer has a precise hollow grind and a deep finger choil behind a single integral guard. Handy thumb and finger rests are filed inside the guard and on the spine for safety and handling.

The handle is expertly shaped to fit perfectly into the curves of your hand, becoming a seamless extension of your arm. The heavy duty Canvas Micarta handle is virtually impervious to the elements, and sandblasted to form a no-slip grip even when wet with gore of the undead. The handle rivets provide essential holes for rigging either to your wrist or sheath when security is an issue.

The Zombie Slayer comes in a custom fitted black Kydex sheath, designed for multiple carry positions including belt and vest. The sheath is carefully lined with felt to protect the blade and for silent knife withdrawal.
