dawsonbob?

Weighted forward, good ergos, 5/32" thick blades. Flat grid, and micarta handles. The one I want is the CampTweener. Can you guess what the blade looks like? I'll give you a hint, Campanion. Good hint, huh? The clip point bowie looks good to. They feel thin but balance well, all in all a solid grip with good lengthy handle. I got some pics posted in the forum, under More from Half Moon Ridge, I believe. Tweener are coming, sooner rather than later. Moose

For a very long time I was pushing for a knife with the traditional Becker handle, and a blade like the Campanion, but thinner and shorter — somewhere between 3 3/4 to 4 inches. That's not going to happen, obviously, since the new tweeners have new handles, too (how do those handles fit the hand, by the way?). From what you're saying, it sounds like the CampTweener is the one I'll probably be most interested in.

Now I need to do some designs for someone so I can come up with the money for a tweener, hopefully sooner rather than later.:D

They fit real well, slightly thicker than an ESEE 3, but more rounded and the finger reliefs are perfect. I didn't cut anything with them, as I didn't know the rules were on those guys. Ethan pretty much said if its out, its game, but I didn't use'em. I should have, lookin' back. I could have reviewed them. Maybe I will here in a couple of weeks, if E will let me. Who know. You're gonna like them, they do feel "Becker" if you know what I mean, overkill in every department.

The Camptweener is the one I'm wanting, it looks so bada$$, uh, I can't wait. It looks identical to the BK2, only smaller, seriously, you're gonna love it.

Yes, I do know what you mean by having a Becker feel. Okay, I think I'm sold. Wonder what kind of a sheath will come with the CampTweener?

The kydex that comes with the BK11/EsKabar will be for the tanto, and the others will have the new kydex sheath with the drop point/clip point outline. From what I've seen anyway.

Well, I got my answer(s). You were down (for a minute) but not out. Good to hear from you again DB. At least you know you're missed:thumbup:

Thanks, RABII, and thanks for posting the original question. It's good to know that someone missed me.

I may have been down for a little while, but never, never out. I hope to come roaring back over the next little while. I really missed interacting with everyone while I was down, but expect to do a little more every day now.

Hey dawsonbob,

I don't get in here very often, any more, since I already own the best Becker there is and ever will be (Machax), but I just popped buy and saw you were MIA. Sorry to hear about your down time, but I'm glad it's something that's easily managed, you old pill-popper, you.

Take care of yourself, bro. I'll catch you later.

Thanks, Doc. Old pill-popper, huh? Well, I guess nowadays the emphasis is on the "old" part, and the older I get, the more pills I have to pop.:D
