Not sure if this is the place to respond but this guy is a fraud. He sold me this knife on EBAY for 357.00 dollars and now is trying to get me to cancel the sale and I am sure not send me the knife. His user ID on EBAY is borrowedtime4me. This is what he sent me on EBAY for you that know this guy.

chisumr, if I were you, I would agree to have him refund your money. PayPal has an option to cancel a payment / refund money with no loss to either side. Then take that money and go buy something from a more reliable person.

He's trying to beat PayPal out of a few bucks. Not worth violating their rules, not worth coming off as a petty thief, and it's certainly not worth it to you, getting involved in his shenanigans.

I think you were smart not falling for it.
 
I'd send a copy of that to eBay. You wanna play, then you gots to pay.

I have reported it to EBAY. I really wanted the knife and have been waiting a long time for it to pop up. Oh well....if I can get him banned then so be it......
 
I REFUNDED HIM HIS MONEY! 100%! I NEVER TOLD HIM I WOULD NOT CONTINUE A TRANSACTON NOR DID I TRY TO DEFRAUD HIM..

I broke my ankle yesterday and went to the ER.. I sent him a EMAIL stating it would be a week or so before i can continue this transaction,.
HE THEN SENT ME A EMAIL STATING THIS
"Don,

If you want to play this game then you will be the one to suffer in the end. I will submit to EBAY/PAYPAL your orginial email about your proposal to defraud EBAY/PAYPAL and I will file a resolution to lock up your funds in the mean time. Hope you understand you are not playing with an unexperienced buyer anymore. I will also expose you on Bladeforum for what you are doing. I am sure they will understand also......."

I HAVE SOLD HIM atleast 10 knives throughout the years AND THIS WAS THE FIRST ONE I SOLD HIM ON EBAY

I AM 100% CORRECT! HE JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS THAT I WAS TRYING TO SCREW HIM OR BACK OUT!! He just jumped all over me!
I Cant imagine why he freaked out! ANyhow the threats he made do not sit comfortable with me!

Ron.. My lies continue?? Man the facts are in the emails u sent me.. I NEVER SOLD YOU ANYTHING OVERPRICED! You bought stuff from other people i recommend to you and I helped u with everything! YOU PAID ME MANY TIMES WITH GIFT PAYMENTS AND ALWAYS GOT YOUR KNIFE!! I Was nothing but fair, honest and good to you with atleast 5-10 transactions.. THIS ONE TRANSACTION AS SENT YOU OFF THE DEEP END!

Guys, chill out. Whoever is right or wrong, why you both blew up about this deal, doesn't matter as much as the damage you are doing to your reputations by exploding like this.

Anger is not a reassuring aspect of a good business partner. Calm down, talk to each other with respect, and see what you can do to repair the damage you've already done.
 
Should have just honored the original ebay transaction and then this whole thing could have been avoided, We have all lost on items we have sold on ebay. That's the chance you take when you do an auction. You should have done a "buy it now" instead of a auction . You took the chance and you lost . Most of us will agree that ebay fee's are through the roof so even more the reason to bring it to the forums to make the sale.

Now you made the OP feel as though he was being part of your violation of ebay and paypals policys. No one at fault here but yourself.

I am calmed down and thanks for the info. I just wanted the knife and bid on it at the last few seconds and bought it. Guess it wasn't meant to be. I am moving on cause I will be selling knives in the future. Thanks Esav Benyamin.
