Day 6-8: East Rim, Hidden Canyon, Deertrap Mountain, Kolob finger canyon+Red Rock

Please compile and post a list of your gear. I went through the postings and wrote down what you had and what I saw. Based on it you had no cooking gear and all you ate was Reeces Pieces.
hahahaha Well, I didn't cook any. Thought about it, and debated between taking my propane or alcohol stoves, but hot food sets my stomach in motion. Since I go to sleep as soon as it gets dark, and get up and am gone before the sun comes up, I don't care much to fool with it either morning or night. I'll try to do a gear list soon, but for food I had some Nutri-Grain breakfast bars, several different kinds of granola bars, beef jerky, and individually packaged beef and cheese things...and Reeses Pieces! I never have much appetite on the trail, so usually go for easy carbs during the day, plus some protein at night. Staying hydrated is all I really worry about on short trips, though. I do hot tea, coffee, or hot chocolate sometimes, but that's about it. Besides, I pigged out on pizzas twice at the Zion Pizza and Noodle Co. and a rack of ribs at Wildcat Willies in Springdale, and Zion Lodge's breakfast buffet.

Some truly stunning photos! Can't even pic a favorite, thanks for posting them!
