Day after x-mas hike PICS

I went to a local park and went on a little hike. I saw some very cool things and i saw some things that made me peed off i went of trail for a while and i was hoping to see trees and snow and i did but some a hole brought two car seats into this awsome park and dumped them there.

Heres my pack a my new water bottle Wit a baldric i made for it out of paracord that worked very good its nice to have your water at hand.

And when i reached the top i was greated by the sun trying to get out of the clouds

And i waked along the ridge a little and there wer some nice views of the lake.

Search stormdrane on google and i belive its the first link. he has some very good tutorials on rope craft. And i cheated a litle because i used a not beecause i dont know the real way but it works.

as for the garbage... i had a really nice swimming hole close to my place, just beautiful and full of wildlife I once saw a yearling black bear taking a drink on the other side of the river (One of those WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I BRING MY CAMERA moments.), then people started coming in leaving beer bottles, cans bags DIAPERS!!! its hard to enjoy a nice swim when your literally walking in shit to get to the spot. completely ruined it for me and now with all the traffic down there the animals found a new place to go. grrrrr

We have had a extreme temp changes its 37 and tommarow is going to be 60

I like the cold. This weather is crazy.

i love the winter this was my first hike here in the winter. Because ice was covering the rocks on the edge off the cliff/trail and you have to be extremely cautious this time of year.

heres som track i found. Im Thinking deer. It was funny to me because i was on top of a small mountain and there must have been atleast ten deer up there lol.
