Day hike (pic heavy)

Yup Gus. I will be bringing it.
The blade is now 3.75".
Yup Doc, opposite leaves, growing in cool stream, ribs on the leaves go to the points. I would guess it's watercress. My plant ID is still in its infancy so no eating yet. Pictures and confirm later.
Thanks for the comments.

I'm not sure who is luckier, the son or the dad. I have some fond memories from nearly 60 years ago of some adventures (to a five year old me) with my father and brother. I hope my son and daughter think the same way of some of the hikes I took them on.

Hey great pics. What a fun way to spend the day. Thanks for sharing. I always like to see what the woods look like in other parts.

What a great thread!!!!!.... Your son sure is growing at a rapid pace....... There are never too many hikes with one of your children ..... Never!........ Thank you Tank for taking us along..... Awesome...

Great thread and good on you for lighting the fire within your son to be in the outdoors.

I love these pic heavy trip posts! Thanks for sharing! Some beautiful blades too. Ive never had a mora, but I'm considering getting one for my next trip. I want something kinda semi-disposable (less than 40$). I've read that they are sharp and great for bushcraft tasks. Would you recommend one? Thanks again for the post, I wish there was an entire forum of just all trip reports with pics.
