Today C Bryant and I went on a day hike in the Angeles National Forest. Arroyo Secco to Bear Canyon. It was about 4.5 miles. We had knives and made a couple of friends on the trail!

Most of the knives were Christians.

The rattlers are beauties! The knives too actually, but I love seeing snakes when I'm out.

Made by Dennis Cook. One of his Green River patterns. I'll get you more info shortly

Beautiful pics! Knives, snakes, beautiful scenery, very nice! I know of that area but have never hiked it. I'm inspired to do some exploring.

I went down to the river today with the mutt, and we went swimmin. The water is only about 2 feet deep across most of the river. On the wayy back to the dock, I saw a piece of line coming off the little patch of sand. It turned out, that someone had left a old fishing pole in the ground down there, with the line hung up is the logs. while my dad cut the stuck line, I looked around, only to find 3 dead catfish scattered about, all dried up. next to 2 of them were 2 diff. snakes. One was a common garter with the head off, the other was a copper head, god I HaTE THE BIG SNAKES. This copper head was about 3 ft long, thankfully without a head on. we left soon after we retrieved the pole. i did not want to run into mr.copper heads brother.

That's a great spot for a hike. Cool snake pics too. Did that JK UBOT see any use afterwards? :D
