Day Hike-Snakes and Knives

Sorry I couldn't make this hike, but I'm in for next weekend!

So Chris, does that one photo indicate that the "tin knives" eventually showed up? I hope you found them.

Maybe I should think about deploying a pair of snake boots next weekend?

I want to see a rattle snake in the wild .Maybe get to see one on my upcoming vacation to the west.
 
I really like to see big king snakes in the wild! [They prey on smaller rattlers.;)]

As for the patches. They were made and sold on here awhile back. I thought at one time Spark still had some and was going to put them up for sale. I'm not sure if this ever happened though.
 
We put in a order for the blade Forum Patches a while back. I don't recall the final price but I would guess that there are some who have a few extra's, I think I do. I would have to look around.

No Dave the have not turned up yet. Those were Reuben's new toys. They will show up eventually.

I was quite surprised that we saw two rattler's. I was even more surprised I almost stepped on the pissed off looking one. I know they are everywhere out there, but it really hits home when you come inches from one!

Next time Christian, I go in front the whole time, I have snake eyes when it comes to spotting them.
