Lost my full time job about six months ago. I was making knives on the side mostly for the pleasure of it. Now, what started out as a hobby has become my regular job and full time addiction. Anyway just got my internet site set up. Please stop by and check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks to everybody on this site for their knowledge, experience, and inspiration.

God Bless

Don, Please post the url for your website, I'd love to check it out!

Also, isn't it great to be able to make it doing what you love to do!

My business started out as a part time gig for us too while my wife and I were putting ourselves through graduate school. Kathryn (my wife) has since finished her Ph.D. in History, and was awarded a full scholarship to law school...and she still helps with the business (she packs and ships orders mostly) When I finish up with graduate school this Summer, I'm going to do this business full time too, I love doing it, and I love the customers I have (some of the best people on this planet as far as I'm concerned). I'm hoping I can make it too doing what I love to do.

Good luck to you, I hope your knifemaking business thrives!

Good looking knives. And the site looks good. I like easy to navigate, easy to read web pages. I wish you guys the best of luck through what can be a tough time. It's great to see someone use the skills they've developed in good times and adversity. God bless you as well.

Also, if you don't use one, you may want to look into making a cheap-o home built light box for photography of your knives. That lets them really come through in full detail on the website. You can search the internet or this site via google. Type in your search and then after it add a space and:

site:bladeforums.com

Best of luck!

I hope you can make a great living at doing what you love.
Nice knives on your website. :)

Good luck, I like the way you web site is organized. I can only hope that some time I can do knives full time.

Thanks alot for the encouraging words and tips. I keep trying to convince the wife to take a photography class and learn to make sheathes. No luck so far.

Awesome knives. I truely do envy you, or I gusess the right word would be respect. I hope to one day be able to do what you have accomplished.
