The BK14 turned out very nice. That trick with the lanyard hole keeps the profile clean. Everything you have done is well planned and executed. The small fixed blade is very interesting.
 
Man you do the best mods for the bk14/24, your last mod for the bk14 was my favourite but it might be pipped by this, how tough was it to grind down the d2 on the spine? What tools do you need? I am all thumbs, especially when it comes to things like this....
 
Great mod. Looks like a handy little bushcrafter.
As far as cutting factory scales - you saved a lot of time on not only the hex holes, but the 3-D shaping.
In my opinion, it's a fair tradeoff, and they look both awesome and comfy. And I love the lanyward hole idea.

Maybe you can repurpose the former tweener grivory onto your little pocket fixed blade...
