The handle on these seems a bit short but the lanyard and antler button gives a feel of more length and also helps to slide the knife from a snug fit pouch. I am a big fan of 1095 steel which holds an excellent edge, sharpens easily and In my opinion slices better than a some of the other blade steels.

These are stock removal from 3/32 1095 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rd 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure
Flat grind with an almost mirror finish
Full tang
Black and natural Micarta scales
Overall length 6 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 inches
Leather pouch, no belt loop
