Day trip unearths fine Wostenholm: Anyone else have anything by this great maker?

Some Wostenholm exhibition knives-- beautiful examples of the cutler's art.

Great to see those Jake :) I also have that book and enjoy it immensely

Being a Schrade collector I own a few of the IXLs that were produced when the actual company was owned by Schrade. Those are some beautiful knives.

A week ago, I received these two I*XLs in trade at my monthly club meeting.

The smoker's knife makes me wish I could smoke again, with no ill effects! It is nicely made, and was carefully used. The handles are nice horn and the snap is good on the blade and the "pricker". How many of those are bent or broken!!?? This one is near perfect! Sweet, slim little machine!
The Barlow is near full, also snappy, and has some of the best jigged bone I have seen on an I*XL.
I feel lucky!!

Beautiful Barlow Charlie, and that Pipe Knife is outstanding my friend

Thanks, Jack!
I thought you might like them when I posted them.:)
