My old cell phone resigned after 3,5 years of loyal service, so I had to buy a new one (Nokia 6300). This new one features a 2 mpix camera. Ive never really thought much of these, but since its pretty hard to find a phone without a camera these days, I thought I might as well give it a try. So, here's a few samples from todays day hike (Ive resized the images to 30-45% of original, and fixed the brightness a bit)

(this used to be one of my favourite spots... now its just a muddy field :( )

All and all, a 2 mpix camera phone definately is no substitude for a real digital camera, but since Im gonna have a cell phone with me anyway, its a nice feature to have. In a bright daylight a camera phone seems to be enough for getting some web-quality pics. I paid 149 euros for the phone, and the price included a 512 mb memory card.

... now what did I forget... oh yeah! One for bladeforums:

Hey those pics are really good for a camera phone!

Great looking dog also!

Nice - is that a Kellam? I like the sun slipping through the trees. Must be able to find some fatwood around those parts!

Thanks for the comments :) I was surprised how decent the pics ended up. Its really all about the light... in a dimmer light all the pics I took were blurry

Some of Kellams "wolfpack" knives looks similar, but the one I have is "Korpi", by Ahtipuukko. Its basically just a small cheap (~29 EUR) traditional puukko. I use it as a "pocket-puukko"; I just toss it in my jacket pocket if I dont wanna carry a knife on my belt.

Nice pics? Is the 6300 a tmobile phone?
Sorry, dont know what's a "tmobile phone"

T-Mobile is owned by Deutsch Telecom in Europe. I work for them in the US. We have the Nokia 5310 and 5610 phones here.
