My sister and I went up to hike a section of the Appalachian Trail here in NJ. I had never been there before, and we ran into Sunfish Pond, which is a really beautiful glacial lake.

I was able to try out a new pack, and it was nice to spend some time with her outside (hard to coordinate these things with both of us in college).

Anyway, here are some photos I'd like to share with you:

Happy Trails!

Looks like that RC4 saw some action! Nice. I like knives that show some visible wear.

A steep dropoff by the shore of the lake in an area like that where there are no significant hills usually indicates that it was a plunge pool for a waterfall off a glacier. Is that the case? I remember camping by a plunge pool lake in upstate NY once.

That stream looks like a nice place to spend a little time relaxing.
