I have a mint condition DB Fraley Torrent framelock flipper with flame-striped titanium handle scales and a handrubbed S30V recurve blade for trade. If you're looking at this listing, you probably already know that Derek is one of the premier makers when it comes to flipper opening knives. His pieces are built like tanks, and they flip open easily with no wrist action whatsoever. Plus, his fit and finish is flawless. This particular Torrent is different from most in that it is tapped for both tip up and tip down carry.

The Torrent flipper listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Derek is sharp. The flip action is very smooth (I can flip the knife completely open with zero wrist action in any position, even perfectly vertical), the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is dead perfect.

***TRADED***

The specs:

Condition: Mint
Blade length: 4" from tip to handle
Overall length: 9"
Blade thickness: Just under 3/16" at ricasso
Blade steel: S30V
Blade finish: Handrubbed
Edge: Plain
Handle slab material: Titanium, beadblasted and flame-striped
Lock: Titanium frame lock, beadblasted and flame-striped
Backspacer: Titanium, beadblasted and flame-striped
Clip: Titanium, beadblasted and flame-striped, tapped for both tip up and tip down carry
