Anyone know how to hook up a dc controller on a regular single phase motor. I am not sure, but was told it could be done. TIA

No good. I checked them out and the dc controller with the MOST output is only 48volts and 4amps.

And most 1/2hp use 90volts dc at about 9amps
and most 1hp use 180volts dc at about 14amps
