DC Motor Question

I have a 1.5hp DC motor (180v) powered with a matching DC variable drive (both Baldor). There two wires from the drive to the motor (plus the ground). Is it possible to reverse the direction of the motor by reversing the power wires between the drive and motor? Baldor wants around $140 for a reversing kit. I can't imagine the kit being much more than a DPDT switch.

Correct.

Though the kit probably has some relays and a low voltage switch.
