Does anyone know of a source for DC power supplies that don't cost a small fortune?
I'm looking for something in the 0 - 200 volt range, I think. I'm wanting to try my hand at annodizing titanium and if I understand the process I need to get up to 200 volts for the deep dark colors. Thanks.

I am looking for this information as well.

I thought that you only need something in the 30 to 70 volt DC range, 500ma. max....does anyone know?

I have seen variable transformers from places like Electrosonic, and was wondering if that coupled with an appropriate rectifier would be adequate.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

most of the knifemakers i know use their small 5 amp logo stencil machines to anodize with....think you might have to get a bigger carbon block.....they are cheap...way under $100.....you can build your own for about $30 i think.....ive never done it but have listened in a bunch when guys were talking about it.....you can use all kinds of ordinary materials for the medium...coca cola works good...different stuff equals different colors..think either Blade or KI ran an article on it not too long ago...
