Hey guys, its been a while since I had a knife to offer, hopefully you didn't forget about me ;). Anyway, here is one of my first knives completed in Hitachi Super Blue. I really wanted to create something that would look great with a dark patina, and I think this more traditional design accomplishes that well.

I'm asking $135 shipped inside the US for the knife and pocket clip sheath made by my dad

Specs:
OAL-6 15/16"
Blade Length-3"
Steel-1/8" Hitachi Super Blue heat treated by Peters to 61-62 HRC
Handle Materiel-Green Canvas Micarta secured with g-flex epoxy and g10 tubes

Thanks for looking, I promises I'll have more knives finished soon :o
Please let me know what you think,
Drew

Looking good, Drew. Any plans on making a full flat slicer out of this fantastic steel?

Thanks! I've got one big kitchen slicer that I'm going to be playing with

Great looking cutter you have there! Where did you come across Super Blue Steel?

Thanks, I purchased it from Aldo, and as flatblackcapo said, it looks like he still has some in stock.

Man! Thats really nice. And a steal
Any chance of an in-hand photo?

Thanks, sure here you go

Drew, another great looking blade. That Super Blue gets stupid sharp!

Thanks...and it is a lot easier to grind then that 3v stuff :D

Thanks Bigjonhoss, payment recieved.

This one is sold guys, but thanks for all the comments, I'll definitely be making more. I'm glad you all like it!

OK....there is some clarification that needs to be made here. Aldo has Blue # 2 in stock. That is not Super Blue steel....at all. You might want to make that correction...because Super Blue is on another level than Blue # 2.

No worries at all, brother. When I was crusin' thru the for sale knives...and saw your description, I was getting excited! Aldo has Super Blue now and no one told me???? :)

I will take on in 3v if you are still making them.

On another note, my wife is taking a trip to Japan in April. I would like her to bring home some Aogami super but I dont know where to send her and how to buy it before she gets there. Does anyone have a contact (email address) of a supplier in Japan that i can contact to setup the transaction?

Thank you much in advance.

RB
