Ridge or not, nice blade. We seen many a compound grind over the years.
Looking forward to your post on year two!! Congrats.
I like the dapper, very nice. Charlie, that ridge could be easily ground much flatter, so much it would hardly be noticeable. Of course, then you would have to re-etch, but that's no big deal. But if it doesn't bother you, then don't worry about it. Just thought I'd mention it.
